This is an interview discovered through the website, career cruising. I found Todd's advice extremely useful in several ways. In the interview he mentioned how this job can be emotionally draining at times. Counseling can also be demanding, and work often falls in personal life. I think going into the ministry with this knowledge is important.

This website is called the American Association of Christian Counselors. This is a well-known and supported website for counseling. A lot of courses and studies are listed on this page, and well as learning conferences for those who desire to grow in their counseling career. A membership is available. By signing up, newsletters and other valuable information is offered. This is a great site to visit if one is looking to get more involved with Christian Counseling.

This website contains numerous blogs, and journal entries about counseling from a Christian perspective. Curriculum, videos, training, a bookstore, and much more is presented in an easy, useful way! A subscription is offered as well. There is conference dates posted, where well-known speakers talk about the different issues involved in Christian counseling.
